Congratulations on your pregnancy, and welcome to Coffs Coast Midwifery! Teneille is a Private Practice Midwife who would love to look after you and your baby throughout your pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey! Teneille is passionate about providing woman-centred midwifery continuity of care. This means she loves building a partnership with you while she cares for you antenatally (during pregnancy), during birth (within the hospital) and postnatally (up to 8 weeks after birth).

This care can begin from the moment you know you are pregnant! You don’t need to see your GP to confirm the pregnancy or get a referral, just simply contact Teneille to get started! Teneille will order and review relevant pathology (e.g. blood tests) and ultrasounds. She can also order any prescription medication you may require. All appointments are within the comfort of your home and are not rushed, with plenty of time for you to ask questions and receive evidence-based information to make informed decisions about your and your baby's care. Medicare rebates are available on all antenatal and postnatal appointments. 

Appointments include checks on you and baby, including listening to baby’s heartbeat in the second trimester onwards. Teneille collaborates, consults with and refers to many other health professionals if required, but only with your consent. During your pregnancy, you will be referred to your local hospital (Coffs Harbour Health Campus or Grafton Hospital) for a booking-in appointment, so the hospital has your details and copies of your records in preparation for your birth. In between appointments, Teneille is available via phone or email, to answer any questions or concerns you may have, no need to wait until your next appointment!  There is no charge for phone consults, as these are bulk-billed.
