Congratulations on your pregnancy, and welcome to Coffs Coast Midwifery! Teneille is a Registered Endorsed Midwife who will be looking after you and your baby and tailoring care to your needs. The antenatal schedule of visits is flexible whilst meeting recommended antenatal care standards.  Please see your GP for any issues unrelated to this pregnancy. 

Teneille collaborates with many other health professionals, including Dr Deirdre Little, a General Practitioner Obstetrician (GP/OB). If required, your care will be referred to other appropriate health care professionals, but only with your consent. During your pregnancy, you will be referred to Coffs Harbour Health Campus for a booking-in appointment so the hospital has your details and copies of your records in preparation for your birth.

You will see Teneille regularly both antenatally (during pregnancy) and postnatally (after birth for up to 6 weeks) as she provides continuity of care (seeing the same midwife) which is woman-centred and in partnership with you and your family. Teneille will provide lots of education and will encourage you to make informed decisions about your care and treatment. Appointments will include information sharing and education, clinical checks on you and your baby, and ordering and reviewing relevant pathology (blood tests) and ultrasounds. All information disclosed is treated as confidential. You can ask questions, express concerns and receive evidence-based information at every appointment.
